How to add text
- Open the PDF in UnsentPDF and turn on “Add content tools”.
- Choose “Add text”, click where the text should start and type. Press Ctrl/⌘+Enter to finish.
- Drag to move it; change the size, font and colour from the bar.
- Choose “Export PDF” and save.
What the result keeps
- Added text is real text in the file: it can be searched and selected.
Why it stays private
UnsentPDF is a web page that does all its work on your device. Your PDF is read by your browser and never sent to a server, not even ours. Once the page has loaded, it also works offline. How to check this yourself.
Good to know
- Added text can use Latin (including Central and Eastern European), Greek and Cyrillic characters.
- This adds new content. Editing text that is already in the PDF is not supported yet.
