How to fill in a form
- Open the PDF form in UnsentPDF.
- Click a field and type, or use Tab to move from field to field. Tick checkboxes and choose options with the mouse or the keyboard.
- Undo works for every change. Pages can still be rotated, reordered or removed.
- Choose “Export PDF” and save. To lock the answers in, choose “Flatten form and export again”.
What the result keeps
- The result is still a fillable form: other PDF apps see your answers in the fields.
- Fields you did not change are left exactly as they were.
Why it stays private
UnsentPDF is a web page that does all its work on your device. Your PDF is read by your browser and never sent to a server, not even ours. Once the page has loaded, it also works offline. How to check this yourself.
Good to know
- Calculations built into a form (such as running totals) do not run; type those values yourself.
- Answers can use Latin (including Central and Eastern European), Greek and Cyrillic characters.
- Forms made only with Adobe XFA (rare, mostly older government forms) cannot be filled.
