How to sign a PDF
- Open the PDF in UnsentPDF and turn on “Add content tools”.
- Choose “Draw freehand” and sign with your mouse, trackpad or finger, or choose “Add image to page…” to place a scanned signature.
- Move and resize it into place.
- Choose “Export PDF” and save.
Why it stays private
UnsentPDF is a web page that does all its work on your device. Your PDF is read by your browser and never sent to a server, not even ours. Once the page has loaded, it also works offline. How to check this yourself.
Good to know
- This is a visible, handwritten-style signature. It is not a certificate-based digital signature.
- If the PDF already carries a digital signature, saving changes makes that signature invalid. You are warned first.
