How to edit metadata
- Open the PDF in UnsentPDF and choose “Document properties”.
- Choose “Edit title, author, subject, keywords”, change the values and Apply.
- Choose “Export PDF” and save.
What the result keeps
- Many apps read a second copy of these details (XMP metadata). It is updated too when the file stores them in the standard way; if it cannot be updated safely, it is left as it was and the export dialog says so.
Why it stays private
UnsentPDF is a web page that does all its work on your device. Your PDF is read by your browser and never sent to a server, not even ours. Once the page has loaded, it also works offline. How to check this yourself.
